I just received my Russian Kettlebell Challenge video and have watched it twice already, but being a beginner I don't have a clue on how to proceed as far as a program or routine is concerned. (Although I have read a few posts about using ladders and that sounds like a good idea.) Also, I will probably use dumbbells at least for the time being. more »

Kettlebells and Bulletproof Abs

My largest kettlebell is perfect for one-arm deadlifts as described in Bulletproof Abs. It's heavy enough to do the job and really works the grip, but is much easier to balance than a barbell and it really works the abdominal obliques. more »

Deadlift singles & kettlebell set/rep scheme?

Does anyone do deadlift singles as a workout routine? I'm wondering if there are benefits to singles vs the conventional 5 reps or vice-versa. I've had some problems getting 5 good reps in the deadlift no matter what the weight, but I'm able to go heavy with good technique on singles. more »
